We have made the opening to this stone as large as we could to ensure that you will be able to use it with most spell candles you choose. This Black Lava Stone can be placed upon your altar to represent Earth, or Fire. This stone is cooled volcano lava, cooled rapidly by a sudden temperature change such as exposure to water. The high concentration of Iron & Magnesium gives this “Lava Rock” it’s dark charcoal color. A wonderfully porous stone, Black Lava Rock is known for being crafted into beads as a tool for absorbing essential oils. Within your practice, you can “feed” this stone with oils, or water elixirs. Black Lava Rock builds a deep connection with Mother Earth, providing a sense of “calm relief”. This mystical stone also dispels negativity and provides courage during times of unease and uncertainty.
